Great restaurant! I had my wedding reception here and all the staff including Peter(owner) were awesomevery accommodating and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure my special day was that and then some. The food was great, I love it. My guests can't stop talking about how good the food was.

Overall I'm glad I picked this place for my wedding reception as it was just perfect. I highly recommend it. I'll be looking forward to coming back for my anniversary.

Fantastic place. A real Italian atmosphere. Better than most Italian restaurants in Chicago ;). Perfect place for your date. Nice choice of wine. Atmosphere like somewhere in Umbria. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at Cafe Gabbiano. Zack was our waiter & he was very friendly & helpful. We had lamb shank & lobster ravioli which were both wonderful! I wish there was a CG in Boston 😊

Food is good, Service is friendly but needs training. Napkins from the both of us were dirty. When the appetizer was cleared we were told to keep the forks and when the main course came we had to ask specifically for a knife.

Absolutely fantastic. As a recent ex-New Yorker, I have high expectations when it comes to Italian cuisine. Boy, did they live up to it. Service was top notch. Ambiance was quaint. I hope for the opportunity to come back soon. Overall great food and experience. Worth every penny I spent there.

I'd award them 10 stars if I could! A delightful setting on beautiful Siesta Key - in the village. The food is fabulous - authentic Italian - served family style - is only overshadowed by the wonderful, attentive, friendly, service staff and management. Generous portions served with a smile!

Great food in a nice atmosphere. A group of unruly children affected our dining experience but once they left we were able to enjoy our dinner. Why do adults feel it's appropriate to allow children to run around playing hide and seek in a restaurant?

We will return again, this is our favorite Siesta Key restaurant.

dissapointed in quality of food and service was just ok in relation to the price paid. mussels were not fresh and my veal was overcooked and chewy. nice decor and a large wine selections. but thats about it..

My wife and I went here for dinner the other night we had a very nice experience! We had our choice of seating form full indoors and air condition to an indoor/outdoor partly air condition to just the out side patio. we chose the patio form the hostile to our server (Ashlee) and the buser we had a great staff every one was nice and very polite, friendly, helpful and prompt!
I work in the restaurant industry so i know how things should work and some times do not. but the food was very good we has a special salads, the Gnocchi Bolognese and tiramisu . All of witch were excellent! Even though my wife and i had a latter dinner starting at 9 and ending at around 10:30 Ashlee was very nice and did not rush us at all we could not have been more happy with our whole evening!

The bartenders and wait staff are very friendly and offer exceptional service. We enjoy sitting at the bar because we like to interact with all the staff. The restaurant has an awesome ambiance and atmosphere. The martinis are extremely well crafted and they make each one to order. The food is fantastic. I was happy to find out that they sell their sauces when we tried the lobster ravioli with vodka sauce.

Contacted Marc the owner for booking a 32 person wedding rehearsal dinner. He was great to work with -- each time responding quickly and answering questions specifically and thoroughly. Communication A+. Value was A+. Other restaurants had insane minimums, Marc even altered his menu for us to accommodate our budget. Fantastic is an understatement. All food was absolutely delicious and we heard compliments from our guests all night. Alcohol was very reasonable and the service was so great we didn't have an empty glass all night. I would hope anyone booking a large group dinner would look here first. Cannot say enough about how great our experience was. Thanks again to Marc and his staff.
