Very upscale with great service. I had the chicken livers for appetizer and ostrich for entre and both were very delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent food but not so good service. Beautiful decor but patrons are allowed to smoke cigars and cigarettes in the restaurant. My friends were celebrating a special event and the service was subpar. We didn't get our appetizers until after the meal was served. It wasn't crowded and we asked 4 different restaurant staff for assistance and received no help.

I'll preface this by saying I'm only giving 2 stars because the food was delicious and staff was friendly. However, I had one of the worst experiences at a restaurant. During dinner. A large insect crawled from inside the wall and remained posted next to our table. I informed the hostess, but she claimed 'oh it's just a WATERBUG, this happens all the time, would you like to move?' Look, I'm not fishing for a free meal or anything, but at least be a little more empathetic to the situation. People don't want large insects dinning with them. Step your pest control game up! This is something I would expect from some fast food joint, but not from one of the highest rated restaurants in town. Needless to say, my wife and I lost our appetites. Anniversary dinner was ruined, and now I will always have that negative memory. Will not return.

The food was amazing and the dining experience matched the food. From the valet to the server, we received great service.
Started with the lobster and chicken peri-peri chicken egg rolls. They were really good but I personally loved the lobster egg roll.
For our main course, I had the peri-peri chicken and my husband had the kingflip fish. Both dishes exceeded our expectations. This restaurant is a home run all around.response / report this review -

This was my birthday weekend and a friend invited me to 10°South! Fabulous SA restaurant !! Classy with a meanie to die for and a wine selection unlike many out there!!

Lamb chops were good but were missing typical lamb flavorjust tasted like steak. My veggies and potatoes were cold and my friend had to send her food back because she asked for no sauce on ravioli 3 times because the waitress couldn't remember and of course it came out with sauce. Nice atmosphere and MAY give them another try but honestly probably won't.

Great food from my families homeland, Atlanta was our hub for our north american trip, had a day to relax after a 17 hour flight ! Got a tip to check our 10 degrees, it was started by a soccer player, being that I love soccer why not ? lol great food, good drinks and a nice selection of SA wines. Enjoy

South African food. Fun to try. The ostrich medallions were very tasty. Tried the raspberry white chocolate brulee cheesecake, it was only ok. Server tricked us into buying a bottle of water for the table. If the dinner wasn't so good I would have been mad.

I've waited just over a year to write this review to make SURE it was as bad as I remember.
It was.
If I could give it zero stars, I would.
My wife and some friends of ours visited 10* South last year the day before Valentine's. We called for a reservation a few weeks ahead of time assuming it would be busy.
When we arrived, after a brief wait we were seated at a bar top table IN the bar. During the entire dinner there was a constant smell of cigarette smoke, despite the restaurant being a non-smoking establishment. We were also sitting 1 table away from the live music, which was deafening. Most of the dinner we just looked at each other instead of screaming over the music.
I ordered curry, the ladies ordered fish and her husband ordered steak; all of which were purportedly South African inspired or genuinely South African dishes.
Apparently the chef here has never been to South Africa. I have traveled there a reasonable amount and the food was neither authentic nor good. The two kinds of rice which accompanied my curry were either over or under cooked- regardless they were so hard they crackled and crunches as I tried to eat them. The chicken in the curry was stringy and fatty. The fish was just that- a fish. It was neither seasoned, cooked nor presented in any specific way that would indicate it was from another continent. The steak was the same- just a steak.
To add insult to injury the bill came out to about $50/person for pretty awful food.
Due to the poor quality of the food coupled with the price- this was absolutely the worst dining experience I can ever remember having.response / report this review
