we always stay at Waves for special occasions. Not cheap but always clean and quiet. I did note that the bedside lamp wasnt going and it wasnt going when we stayed last time (a year earlier) and yes I did mention it to the staff a year ago. Apart from that, they have awesome spa baths and very close to the beach.

Stayed here recently, the room was dirty and hadn't been serviced fully since last visitors, soiled toilet, dirty mirror with toothpaste smeared down it, no tea/coffee/milk in trays or fridge completely empty, plug for the spa bath was broken and wouldn't hold any water so we couldn't use it even though we paid extra to have a room with one. Lady at front desk spoke very little English and couldn't understand when we tried to explain to her. Emailed them twice about it and no reply over the last two months to come to some kind of resolution for our awful stay and they have just ignored me. Would not recommend for $180 for one night staying in unhygienic and unsanitary conditions.

Poor hygiene.found items in the room which you'd really wouldn't want to see. They provided a free upgrade to compensate. Two stars for the location and the spacious room.

Highly recommend waves motel. Reasonable price, clean and you can order hot breakfast in your room. Very close to the beach. Free Wi-Fi. Our room had a mini fridge, stove top, utensils, frying pan and pot. We did miss not having an ironing table though an iron is provided.

Booked for one night and got the last room. Don't mind paying big $$ but expect at the very least cleanliness.
Room was large and well set out which I loved. Bedroom was clean and bed very comfortable.
Unfortunately the rest of the unit was very dirty, dried food all over hot plate, dirty used dishes in cupboard, black hairs on bathroom floor, toothpaste on mirror.
Location was great so would stay again but take my own " spray and wipe" and do quick clean first..
