we enjoyed a lovely couple of days at the campground in our motor home, the sites are not big but the amenities are clean & the hosts are very helpful. We have stayed once before & would recommend this campground to families as it has the hot springs & it close to the water for paddle boarding& kayaking. Waihi beach is 10mins away! !

Love this little camp ground. So very clean and tidy. Friendly staff & campers. Good shelter from the wind. Pool is awesome. So glad to finally make it back here

Nice place frendy staff and good service and very clean toilet shower etc good kitchen the only thing that needs fixing is pathways when wet a bit muddy .and nice hot pool for guest and visitors and wood recommended this to anyone.

The pools were awesome, the accommodation clean and comfortable and very friendly and welcoming staff, we extended our stay. Would recommend checking this place out.

Nice hot pools that you can swim in. Note 15 yr old and over pay as adults and can also go in the hotter spa pool.

Very unpleasant lady in the office. I had a couple of questions to ask her and she spoke to me as if I was an idiot. When I walked out of the office, I overheard her mimicking me and putting me down. I dealt very unwelcome and cut my stay short. I will never go there again. Attention sue further to my review I would like to comment that sue the manager has just rang me and is very sorry that I had an unpleasant experience with one of her staff and has offered to put things right with me. Sue comes across as a very nice person and I have decided to give athenree holiday park another chance, as it's very clean and comfortable and the pools an added bonus. Just wish l talked to sue first.

Have never stayed at the Holiday Park but we frequently go to the Hot springs and love this spot! They have a kid friendly main pool and an adults hot pool. The beautiful surroundings and very clean facilities make this an incredibly relaxing spot to spend a few hours.

First time here, staff was awesome, was shown to my site, told where the facilities were etc, and the hotpools are the best, included in the camping fee. Pools are cleaned nightly and in the morning there is a time campers can go privately, without the public.
It is open to the public also. Reasonable cost too.response / report this review
