Great place but we're in an onsite caravan for one night. Its a bit shabby but adequate. Major problem. Vent above bed is broken. Cold wind on our heads at night. Just seal it up.

Arrived at the camping grounds just before closing and the staff were excellent! We walked into town and the few hardy souls out in the cold were cordial enough. The owner however of Taste of Asia was most hospitable and charming. When the waitress made a mistake in the order - not worth complaining about - he gave the discount and acknowledged the mistake without being prompted.
That was 10 star service in respect for his customers. I recommend their menu as well.

It's got a nice view of the beach and is close to mount Manganui, so you can go for a climb and their are shops nearby too

This is such an inspiring place to be at, there are so many people from all around the world camping and sharing their stories. What a great environment! It is also very well setup to accommodate a comfortable living. It had laundry bathrooms and showers and it is right by the beach.

Stayed here couple times.. you get good deal on pools next door if you stay here.. handy location to Mount strip.. its $27 nite pp with $10 deposit for washroom electronic key.
