This Boutique accommodation truly lives up to its name. Nestled into the side of Paihia with stunning views of the ocean, the host Glennis made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The food was great, and our rooms were clean and comfortable. This is the place to go if you want a relaxing home away from home in the Bay of Islands.

What a serene and beautiful space, from the view to the accommodation and a lovely hostess.
The Sanctuary has an amazing calmness about it from the moment you step through the doors.
Definitely a must if you are looking for something a bit special and soulful.

We stayed here for four nights and had an amazing time. Glennis is a great host, we felt very looked after. Highly recommend staying here if you are wanting a central spot to explore the Bay of Islands and chill-out to the great views of the bay.

Stunning views, beautifully detailed accommodation with all amenities. Food was delicious and plentiful, warm, calm, lovely innkeepers. Felt like home. Could not have felt more welcome.
