  The resort in itself is good but we were asked to pay again at arrival even though the entire booking was done days before.
  The Chinese person at the counter had a sorry time trying to communicate in English and the experience was not a great start after a 6 hour drive.

  Fantastic site, quiet and secluded with beautiful view of the falls. Very helpful and friendly people in charge willing to go the extra mile to improve your stay.

  Listen to the falls day and night! There is a beautiful hiking trail along the river if you walk over to the falls. The room was a little cold, but they had heated sheets and are going to renovate next month. The food was ok, but like the rest of New Zealand, not much for a vegan. They are open to suggestions.

  Simple, clean, and enough. A lovely resort with the constant sound of Haruru Falls in the background. I love the slider doors that are full windows for an open view of the Falls and foliage around you.

  Haruru Falls Resort has everything it needs. It's not a five-diamond resort, but it doesn't need to be. It's clean, it's comfortable, it's right by the waterfall, and the tracking course there is wonderful. It's especially good for families with children--there's a swimming pool and field chess board, etc. It's probably a good idea to call ahead to make a reservation in case they don't have space available.

  Beautiful location to camp, the falls are right next to the camp ground, kayak hire is very cheap and the fishing is top notch.

  This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at the lady running this is amazing tells you all the rules to help you so your stay is fantastic. She has another lovely lady that helps in the office. Every thing at finger tips drinks by the pool etc. I stay here often as they make me feel like one of the family.This is a wonderful place to experience. Thanks to the lovely lady's. Kids love it so ideal for family. This is a must try.Lovely and clean.
