Apart from the quaint french decor, this was a really disappointing experience. The french waiter knew very little about the menu or wine and couldn't speak English very well at all. We had a giggle unsuccessfully trying to speak our school girl french. I dined with a couple of friends and we were the only ones there on a Thursday night so the ambiance was OK but not humming.
In terms of the food, where do I start?The fish of the day smelt way too strong and was a bit slimy (I wondered if it was off or not cooked enough) and the flavours were wrong together (orange glazed in a creamy sauce, it was just weird). The lamb shank was dryish and stuck to the bone, served with a flavourless gravy. The steak was thin and not very juicy.
The side salad was like one of those bags you get at the supermarket tipped in a bowl. We decided not to try desert.

went Saturday for lunch , after all the great comments we found it tasteless ,I had the
Castelnaudary’ Cassoulet $34.00 ,duck confit, pork belly, sausage. pork belly was tough ,small portion for $34.00 all a bit dry and no flavor,response / report this review -
