Decent BYO steakhouse, Cobb and Co quality standard fare. My go to place when I want steak with a bottle of wine from home. Recent menu changes seems to have removed marinade from my favorite Steak Italiano, now less tasty.

So convenient, right in the centre of Henderson and a menu to cater for all tastes. I went for an early brunch/lunch and wasn't disappointed. I had "Eggs Benedict" and the image shows how nice it was. The hollandaise sauce was something special. The service was great, from sitting down to eating the meal was only twenty minutes. Tony's is an old established restaurant in Henderson and they have another one in Wellesley Street central Auckland which is very handy to the Civic theatre. Their steaks are some of the best in town.

We had a big group dine in..6 of us ordred the all you can eat rib thusday night special.The children ate the kids menu orders hot dog and chips .
Our waiter her name is Jess was fantastic she let us know the progress of our meals.She made us feel relaxed and reassuring as we waited.

Consistently well presented family meals, generous portion sizes, friendly staff. Would highly recommend, remember freshly cooked meals take a little longer to arrive, just like at home but better as no dishes to wash.

This place was absolutely amazing!!!!!! Our waiter Finley gave us the best Tony's experience. The Crumbed Scallops were cooked to perfection and The Dino Steak was my personal favourite. Overall I give this place a personal 5 star review because why not ♥☻

Fantastic, Tonys Restaurant & Bar is the best place to go out west for a great meal, great drink and spend some time with a loved one, family or friends.

We got to the restaurant to find they had mixed our booking with someone else despite the fact that we had paid a deposit. I also phoned to confirm our booking. We were then told that they had run out of food for the mid winter menu. We had to settle for the usual set menu. We then had to wait for a very long time for our starters. It was a special occasion for us and was totally spoilt by the service. The waitress was the only saving grace. Won't be in a rush to go back.

We were a large group who had the set menu. Good selection of choices. The seafood chowder was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their mains. Dessert was confusing as many of the orders taken at the table were later unavailable. It took 45 min to serve the last three desserts. Suspect defrosting. Good value but poor comms.

Very established restaurant with decent food and lovely waiting staff, but it's like time travel back to the 80's. Really tired building, dull decor and no music. Needs a manager with fresh enthusiasm and 100K to fix up.
If I'm going to blow $50 on dinner I'd sooner go to the waterfront or somewhere like that for an experience, instead of just a nice steak.response / report this review -

the service is great! but man serving rancid old off or undercooked food and enforcing rules like police officers would not recommend. and this place should be on kitchen nightmares.

Food was bland, I was expecting a lot more considering our mains were over $30 each. Dated decor, and it lacks ambience. We definitely won't ever go back there.

Beautiful setting, very cosy, service is fast and professional, all around and the staff are very
