Great coffee! But the quality is not consistent. Have tried two times, one was awesome coffee and another one was so so.

Amazing service for this fussy diner, service with a smile, nothing too much trouble. Prices very reasonable for the size of meal. A very enjoyable night out.

Disappointing experience, there was a private function and was closed to public until 5pm, unfortunately at the Flying Moa this means that they cannot service their other customers, they could not seat us inside or provide us with food. We do not believe that this does not promote a safe drinking culture. Flying Moa, we felt unwelcome, please next time stay closed until you want other customers.

Super fresh fish meal and a reasonable price. Choice between small and large sizes. Busy on a Saturday night and wait staff took a while to get to our order. Worth the wait

The Environment was wonderful and the atmosphere was very inviting!

Unfortunately, this is where the positives seemed to end.

The food was sub-par based what we've had previously!! My burger was a little dry and didn't have enough sauce.

The dessert was the main downfall though. We had the Apple Pear and Berry Crumble and in all honesty we had no idea as to what "berry" we were eating and the apples and pear lost all their flavour. We were fairly convinced that there may have been tomatoes in the crumble. In addition to me ordering the crumble, my friend ordered the Gluten Free Crumble, this was a shock to us when it arrived to see that it was just stewed "fruit" with a scoop of Ice Cream - how is that a crumble?

We must admit that the staff were very pleasant to deal with and carried themselves well.

All in all we enjoyed our experience but disliked the food.

Quite a large pub for a small area - this is the local for Stonefields. Really good venue, typical pub food and good options on Sundays. Good atmosphere, young & energetic staff. Sometimes has live music or other things on a Saturday night.

Came by for lunch and noticed that they had a brunch menu on top of their standard menu. The menus had a fairly extensive list of food and drinks.
Tried the mushroom on toast and was a bit disappointed. The mushrooms were sauteed and put on top of whole grain toast. I had assumed that there would be a creamy sauce to dip the bread in. This meant that the whole dish was quite dry. The eggs helped but it needed a bit of seasoning.
The place does look quite nice and decorated smartly, particularly with the mo(wers) and the moa foot prints around the place.

Polished pub that wants to be a gastropub. Good for family meals, but not particularly fancy. Different deals daily, and a great quiz night on Tuesday nights.

Great outdoor seating although mainly shaded. Enjoy an afternoon beer hear from time to time if the weather is good but can channel the wind slightly and become a little breezy

Lovely and serving staff. Food served is delicious along with beverages. Located on main road so easy access. Plenty of parking in front and in the basement.
