This place was amazing. Pool was fantastic even in the rain. Room a bit small but nice enough. Owners were welcoming and very helpful.

Great stay! Very friendly and hospitable hosts. They will gladly help you with great ideas where to go in the area. Freshly ground coffee upon arrival is a nice touch. Spacious, clean room.

The couple who owns this motel were very accomadating right from the start of our stay. We were arriving late, they made it easy for us to get the key to let ourself s in.
They had great knowledge and deals about things to do in rotorua, and went out of their way to make bookings that suited our needs. The room itself was very clean, and comfortable to stay in.

Great motel that I would certainly book again. The hosts, Peter and Tristen couldn't do enough for us and were so welcoming and friendly. The spa room we had was clean and perfectly presented with everything we needed. Without hesitation I'd recommend staying here. I'd give it 6 stars if I could!!!

We enjoyed our stay here the motel had everything we needed and was close to the numerous activities in Rotorua. The caretakers were very friendly and helpful.

Sport of Kings was a very good motel. Quiet and pleasant with hot pools and a swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Airport pick up and free bikes for local transport were a great bonus and saved rental car cost.

Exactly what we needed for a brief stopover in Christchurch ahead of exploring the south Island. Friendly and helpful welcome. Lots of information provided on local restaurants and attractions. Plenty of parking. Clean rooms. Well located for city centre, the park, airport and restaurants. Hard to think of anything I could suggest to improve it. Fairly priced. If only all hotels were like this one!
