We enjoyed the peaceful and ralexed atmosphere. Compared to other nearby campings, this one has some spots far away from the motorway. The deck is lovely and the staff is nice. You can do some kayaking or jump from a rope into the river. Nice

Lovely silent and close to the river banks. A lot of accomodation, free wifi (quite slow in rush hours), 2nzd shower (sometimes fluctuating temperature). Very friendly staf, would recommend! You can also rent kayaks for free :)

Lovely host, warm welcome, thorough instructions and information about both facilities and the area.
Kitchen dated but very well equipped with several stoves, microwave, sinks, whiteware and more.
Showers/toilets immaculate, hot water in shower generous.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed for a week and had a great time there. Lovely family, always helpful when we had problems. The kitchens and toilets are always clean, the Wifi is free and very fast. Also the price good for what you get. Murchison is a 15 minute walk away if you need anything, or you grab a bike at the office for free. 5/5 would visit again.

Visited here February 2016, great place to stay, clean, modern and the owners were a wonderful couple. Very cheap and close to town and local attractions. Would definitely recommend to others if you're in the area and need somewhere to stay see this place.

With road diversions and Freedom Camping restrictions, many Holiday/Camping grounds, (food and resource outlets also) are increasing costs to unfairly capitalise on the Traveler and Tourist Boom.

Here is a spot that in my opinion is not so inclined, with modern CLEAN!! Facilities (Plus a Magnificent River location) hard to match anywhere in the Country. I've been to "Dumps" compared to this place. A "CAN NOT MISS" if you're looking for a place to stop.

When I commented to the OWNER how (Comparatively) great and affordable the Camping Ground was, he said: "I love this Place. Money is not my motivation; it's no good to me when I am dead !!"

    Go look, then, Go figure!

Good little cabins and good kitchens. You have to pay for the showers, but the cabins are not too expensive. Friendly and helpful staff/managers. Recommended. Bring your own bedding for the cabins.

Tiny house nation, amazing water front kitchen and dining area, bush walks kids play area amazing nice hosts. Am coming back here. Weather was a bit average the day we stayed so photos wouldn't do it justice. Oh and free wifi!!! And amazing pressure long showers.

Nice campground with cabins, camper sites and tent sites. Owned by a lovely couple. The campground has 5 kitchen blocks to choose from which is a lot. One of them has a great sheltered deck near the river. There is also a big common area with TV. The property is very well maintained and very clean and the rates are the lowest I have seen so far for such a campground. You have to pay for the showers but that is very reasonable considering the low rates.
