Had a nice time on their cruise through the Sound. Very professional. Also used Real Journeys for the glow worm caves experience.

I can’t stop raving about this experience aboard the Wanderer.
The journey started back in Teanu and we were shuttled on a bus making some stops along the way to take pics. Once we got to Milford Sound we waited in the terminal building for our boat.
Once we got on board we were given a safety briefing. Then a tasty soup was served and we were off!
The sights in the Milford Sound are to die for. We lucked out with nice weather: dramatic clouds, low hanging fog. The crew was exceptional; they made conversation and sure that you were comfortable.
The activities for the day included a 2 hr walk on the Milford Track, stopping for a swim, and then heading to the Tasman Sea to watch one of the most fierce sunsets I have ever seen.
The food on the boat was nicely prepared. The serving sizes were great but if you wanted more they had left overs at every meal.
I could go on about other details but you will have to find out for yourself experiencing it. I hope to go back someday and experience this all over again.response / report this review -

Great trip on the Mariner for the ‘Nature cruise’. We were very lucky to get to watch a group of humpback whales. This may not have been possible on the ‘Scenic cruise’ due to the tighter schedule. The nature commentary was interesting and informative. The 1030 cruise works well so you wont have issues with finding parking. You can get discounts by booking online.

Milford sound is a must do on any visit to the south island of NZ. This is a beautiful location rain or shine. The drive is worth it as well for the scenery along the way.

The cruise we were on was pretty underwhelming (the Milford Sound Scenic tour), but the ride was very nice and informative.

Overnight cruise was an experienced sing the area in day time and evening and then waking up to spectacular morning views. Beware if you are claustrophobic they might push you in to a small below deck room. Saw pods of Dolphins, an Albatross, a Seal that liked to visit the boat and get on board at night and also other excursions included. One of the captains was a bit snooty towards his customers.

Nice cruise to the Tasman sea. Saw dolphins who swam alongside our boat. Saw a seal lazing on the rocks. Nice waterfall experience.

We quite enjoyed or travels from Queenstown into Milford Sound. The commentary was great and the staff friendly. Overall though, we felt that the pricing was a little high as the company owns the buses and boats, even the food was a little over priced. Would recommend bribing your own.

Chosen to take the cruise by real journeys. It did not disappoint. If u r driving, choose the cruise earliest u can to avoid crowd. The tour buses normally come here around 12pm noon for cruise.

Amazing experience travelling on a very small plane to the Milford Sound. It was an absolutely beautiful day. Make sure to schedule it early in Queenstown though so that if there's bad weather you can get it rescheduled easily.
