Fascinating place in a stunning part of NZ. Allow yourself time to really check out all the illusions as they're pretty cool, as easy to miss if you rush through. The puzzles at the start are a nice touch too if you have time to chill and try to solve.The maze is fun as far as mazes go, though could do with some puzzles to solve along the way to make it more engaging for the kids.

This place is impossible to describe.
BUT it is a MUST SEE. Easy to spend 2 hrs.there.
You will see things that are supposedly impossible!
Friendly start at cafe with puzzles galore to play with and TRY to solve. Our 3rd visit.
Plenty of quality puzzles, books and toys for sale. A happy place. :-)

Actually pretty good value. The kids loved the maze, the tilted house thing was very cool and the staff are friendly and really helpful. Spent a good couple of hours here during school hols.

Had a lot more fun than expected here. The tilted room and the 3d maze were particular highlights. It's very well organised with good signage, interesting facts to go with the displays and suggested photo ops. Well worth a visit.

Good place for brain tease. A lot of hard puzzles, we stay here for almost 3 hours including the maze, the only thing we solved is actually the maze, the puzzle on the other hand. anyway, good fun and friendly staffs.

This is a good place for both kids and adults, especially if you enjoy puzzles and illusions. The illusion area is fun ( loved the tilted room), and the outdoor maze is a good way to spend an hour. Inside has a cafe with many tables that have selections of puzzles to play with.

The illusion part is quite good, very interesting to see. Space can be limiting at times with kids around. The maze is actually a bit of fun either on your own or as a group. Great for a few a couple of hours

Peculiar attraction, which is exactly what they are after. Some "illusions" and installations I knew from (art) school, but still, many were new and interesting. Also to some extent to our toddler. The big area before entering the illusion rooms has numerous puzzles and toys, which he enjoyed a lot, as were many other kids, and adults.

Very cool place for kids and adults! Good luck in the maze! I especially liked the room that messed with your sense of gravity. The lounge and cafe is awesome too, lots of puzzles to exercise your brain and let kids play around.

Definitely worth a stop if you want to get entertained. separate entries for puzzle world and maze. Lots of puzzles just outside in the lounge area if you just want to sit have a coffee and get your brains worked out.

Good place to spend a couple of hours (max). Surprisingly fun for people of any age. They've got an area where you can enjoy a few puzzles which they've laid out. Great for kids, and adults!

Loved this place. If you love to see and do things that challenge or just break your mind, this this place is where it's at. So glad we made the drive. Made for a great morning.
