Rooms are low quality, not insulated, only 2 powerpoints in the room and heater was not working. Communal facilities such as the kitchen, bathroom and showers were very well kept and modern looking.

Toilets and showers were reasonably clean, some other parts of park a little run down. Pretty happy overall, good location.

Kitchen facilities were incredibly dirty, with no obvious cleaning equipment. It was also extremely noisy. Camp sites are a bit of a walk to the toilets so it really sucks if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Probably the worst experience of our trip.

A lil busy for off peak season but the facilities were amazing and so close to the lake as well.

Marika (the admin) was so lovely, friendly and helpful - made the first 10min at the park already a good experience. The main common area is MASSIVE and super well kept. Sooo going back there again if i can.

Nice holiday park. Still had a lot of construction going on when I stayed but looks like our will be nice when completed. Nice shower/bathrooms

The cabins have only one power point and a low wattage light bulb. Not particularly cheap, but the owners are doing a major upgrade so the communal bathroom and kitchen facilities are excellent.

I stayed here with my daughter in January. The weather wasn't great but it didn't stop us having a good time. We were lucky enough to get probably the last cabin available at this holiday park at that time. We stayed for 2 nights and thought the price very reasonable.
It was obvious the park was going through some major renovations which, when complete, will be great. The cabin itself was small comprising of a double bed, a set of bunks and a table and chairs. Linen and towels were provided. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. We had to pay for Internet use but it was cheap enough for what we wanted. I would stay there again.
Literally across the road from the cabin was the brand new amenities block which was nearing completion and was very impressive with each section being colour-coded. Everything was to hand in the one block just by entering different doorsshowers, laundry, kitchen etc. The showers were very good with each being in individual cubicles, however, be careful how fast you have the water on so that towels and clothes don't get wet!
The kitchen/dining and quiet area was huge and great. Hobs, ovens and fridge/freezers were for everyone's use but make sure you take your own crockery, cutlery and pans. It seemed to be the hub of the park and was being used well into the evening.
The town centre was about a 10 minute walk away with a good variety of eateries and pubs and while you're in Wanaka don't forget to view the famous tree in the lake!

Great location. We visited over the busy period and as the place was being renovated. Break out zones for residents could be a bit more sheltered and comfortable.

Clean and new facilities. A really good place to stay in Wanaka since you can reach the city in a few minutes. Nice staff, good price, would go there again.
