Rooms are small, bathrooms could be cleaner, walls are thin. I was quite shocked that you needed to pay extra for WiFi but, I would recommend it in general as it was one of the cheapest options in Auckland. A backpacker would be pleased.
Good pricing, good location. Kitchen area for shared room hostel is tiny, but bedrooms are nice. Room is dusty though
Good for a short term stay. Facilities were all I needed, Bed, shower, close to the city and cheap
Staffs were very friendly however the rooms seems to be too small for more than 2 persons. Neat kitchen and clean shower.
Good price. But very small and without any amenities, no TV, internet. Only the basic. If you will stay for few days it's ok. For more days, maybe not.
As soon as I got into my apartment I felt costrophobic and disgusting. Yucky smells all throughout the building made me feel uncomfortable and uneasy just being there. Cheap for sure but not worth it if you're looking for comfort as well. Shared toilets and showers usually aren't that bad, although in this case the bathroom was incredibly unpleasant to say the least. Toilet seat looked like it had been there for a decade and the shower had other guests hair inside it stuck to the walls. Pretty much a rabbit hole built by money thirsty Asians who don't know how to keep a hotel at its best
Nice Service for this price, you get towels, shampoo and stuff and get a clean bedroom, and next door is kitchen and bathroom you use with one other room.
Good location friendly staff good rooms but i had to ask to have the shower and room cleaned
Kitchen only partially equipped, stove not working properly, rooms very small, no hooks on the wall to hang things. Bed quite comfortable, staff friendly. Next supermarket (Countdown) more than 1km away.
First of all the staff was helpful and offered good service they could provide us with extra equipment for our kitchen within seconds. The location is central as it's close to the city center and the Auckland Domain.
In addition to that you also have a "private" bathroom that you only have to share with a roommate.
The problem is that the kitchen you share is too small and it can get pretty loud at night since it is next to a main street.
It's a pigeon-hole student apartment. What you get is a small or tiny room with a bed, a desk, and a small wardrobe. And you share a kitchenette and a shower-and-toilet-room with another room. Cleaning is usually once a week and usually just vacuuming; the shared area cleaning is very basic and responsibility of the tenants of those 2 rooms. The internet is very expensive because of monopoly. A redeeming factor is the reception team is very friendly, responsive, and attentive. They'll do all they can to accommodate you. One more thing that make it confusing is that some rooms are owner-managed, and sometimes the owner under-cut the management team.
