  Probably the worst breakfast experience in Auckland, I say probably because clearly I haven't tried them all, lets say the worst breakfast I've had in Auckland. Where to start, the mushrooms were tasteless under-cooked, the rosti's were so crispy and over cooked there was no potato left in them, the bacon's average as was the rest of the buffet to be fair. I'm not a complainer and reasonably easy to please, eat out often and happy to leave positive reviews someone needs to take hold of this place and do something quickly, the rooms beautiful, the maitre'd was friendly, the rest of the staff didn't come anywhere near to ask how things were going ask if we wanted proper coffees, just slack and lazy, I wont be going back and suggest no one else will be soon if this level of food quality and service continues.

  Came here for father's day buffet, everything was amazing!!! The service, the food and that view was just 'Wow'! Look forward to coming back here again.. loved it!

  Great views, food was interesting (big plate, small portion of culinary experimental digestables) classy atmosphere, went there for dinner because of grabone deal. Looking for buffet breakfast deal now.

  Great views, had a discount so was reasonable value - wouldn't want to be paying full menu prices for the quality of food served.

  Great view but very slow lunch service: the restaurant was not even half full. Lunch menu consists mainly sandwiches and that still took more than half hour to arrive.

  Had an excellent experience at the Vue Restaurant and am very surprised by some not so good reviews.
  Our food was excellent and our waiter went above and beyond and so friendly.
  Was a very elegant and beautiful dining experience and the view set with the classy atmosphere topped it off.

  Great service. We have been there a few times for breakfast. Tony was very friendly and would go out of his way to offer help. Thanks Tony.
  Unfortunately the food let's this restaurant down. Which is a shame because it's a lovely atmosphere and layout, with fantastic views.
