What a delightful hotel! Room is spacious, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, location is perfect too! Not 10 minutes walk to the main township so you don't get all the noise but very close to everything. It's right by the Lake as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed in 2 bedroom lake view apartment. View is great, elreally good. Apartment has all the amenities, good kitchen, 2 bedrooms with en suites, nice lounge area, dining table and balcony. Unfortunately, some fittings in the rooms seem a little dated. Rooms do not have aircon, which is fine in winter but it makes things a bit stuffy, had to ask for a fan. Not sure if I'd stay here given the other options available.
Rooms are also showing water damage in the roof and in the bathroom, not ideal. Needs a renovation.

I had the standard room for me and my partner. It had a connecting door to the two bedroom apartment that was locked. There is nothing to block the sound and we felt like we were sharing a room, as we could hear EVERYTHING that was going on in the apartment. The ski room is just a locker room no bench to sit on or heating to dry snow gear. Towels were changed and the bed was made daily, but they didn't seem to touch anything else bench didn't get wiped nor the bathroom vanity.

We stayed here 3 years ago and back then this was a four star hotel fading to 3 due to age and lack of renovation. 3 years on there has been no halt to the decline. The room is now 2 stars with a 5 star view. Parking used to be included and now it's $24 a night. The compendium in the room still says it's complimentary. The fireplace is the rooms only heat. 3 years ago it stayed on when it was turned on. Now it has an auto off after 2 hours. I don't need my room to be a sauna but when your rooms heat turns off after 2 hours at night the room get awfully cold. I don't go on holidays to be cold in the morning. The room we were given had a dangerous low ceiling at the head of the bed for the adjacent rooms staircase. That means the noise is awful but also just getting out of bed is risky. My wife and I both smashed our heads into the ceiling. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan so there is a disturbing amount of moulds on the ceiling. This will be our last stay at Peppers. The price is quite cheap but as he rooms slide into decay it is no longer justifiable to save money and stay here.

This is a great spot to stay in Queenstown if your here for a while. It's in a great location only a few mins away from the town centre and on the lake it gets fantastic views.
The only let downs I found in our 2 bedroom lake side room were the heating and limited stocked kitchen. Most night we were pretty cold due to the long set of windows and doors in our room. Quite a bit of air squeezed in. They did provide blankets and bathroom floor heating but if you were walking around or at the table it was freezing.
Also the kitchen was severely understocked. I bought a heap of stuff to make food but could only find one frypan and a small saucepan. A few more supplies would have been helpful.

Good service, rooms a bit dated and hard to navigate car park to reception. Staff friendly. Suits the purpose as you don't spend much time in your room in this adventure playground.

On asking what star this hotel was I was shocked they said it was 4.5 I would give it one our room called silver suite was a joke the bed was lovely so was the breakfast . such a tiny room There idea of servicing a room was make the bed check the milk in the fridge. Did not top up the coffee sachets which was the only one we used Top of the headboard was covered in dust also the toilet holder was dirty in my opinion the room was an annexe off another suite and the table the sink sat on was terrible it needed either replacing or at least painting . We are at a motel and the bathroom is twice the size and all marble type fitment think twice about this place
