Frankly a disgusting experience from this practice. We took our cat after hours as she was struggling to breathe and clearly in a lot of trouble, hence it was an emergency. The vet who met us there (Brett) was more focused on getting his payment than treating our sick animal. He hadn’t even looked at her before asking us to fill a form out to sort the payment, once we started to explain what was happening to her he abruptly interrupted us by telling us to finish filling out the payment information. He was blatantly rude, and showed no compassion towards us our our cat. She passed away yesterday morning after he continually said she is fine and told us not to worry.. absolutely devastated and angry.

Brett is an exceptional vet and his staff are always friendly and welcoming. We have been seeing Brett for years and even travel 20min to see him even though we have numerous other vets around our neighbourhood, we prefer to see Brett as he is extremely caring towards our pets, professional and has always done an amazing job looking after our fur babies :) I highly recommend to everyone who wants a vet that will go that extra mile in caring for your pets!!

Brett diagnosed my best mate with diabetes, saved him from the inevitable, and gave me and Monty another six years of quality life. The care and dedication from this clinic, especially the people who work there, who provide the support and love that you could only wish for, define what it takes to be responsible for animal care. Thank you and please keep doing what you do, it's a rare and wonderful thing.

"Brett the Vet" a very caring man, a Veterinarian that will always go the extra mile for animals - our pets. I sing Brett's praise simply because I worked for Brett for over 5 years and I can say with honesty he is committed, devoted and sincere in giving medical care and treatment.
Beach Road Vet Clinic has a high standard of cleanliness, and caring nurses that support Brett and the clinic so his clients can feel certain their pet's will receive the very best of care.

Beach Road Vet Clinic is the veterinary practice that we have used since we moved here in 1989. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Brett and his team if you are seeking help from someone who puts the needs of any and all animals first - that includes hedgehogs, seal pups, sea gulls and any other animal that might be in trouble. In the years since 1989 we have had to two dogs and several cats that have needed to be eased out of this world because of pain from serious illness. We have had awesome support from Brett, his locum vets and his nurses during the times of care and then decision-making. The comfort of the animal has been paramount, as has seeking extra time where practicable. In my experience, they could not be faulted and consequently I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We have two mature cats and a fabulous kitten. Brett and the team have been accessible and reliable with routine health care and also advice - for example, recommending a great cattery for our pets over the summer holidays. What I really like about Brett as a vet is that he is calm and very skilled. He asks about the personalities of each individual animal and takes that into account with the treatment plan. When faced with a pretty ugly looking burst abcess in one of our mature cats, he allowed for the natural healing process, without being too interventionist which saved us money, and our cat further pain!
