My brother and I wanted to check out Forestry Beach and go for a paddle. Aotearoa Surf had everything we needed, including a soft roof rack and the right directions to get the beach. Very friendly and helpful. Was a great day.

Excellent experience. My friends gifted me this lesson and as I feel I’ve transitioned out of the beginner stage (regular surfer for 2-3ft green waves) was looking for some tips to accelerate my surfing. My instructor Oliver was very professional, encouraging and I had a wonderful time and his simple tips during the lesson made a huge difference. Highly recommend a lesson for any stage in your surfing capability. I used my own surfboard and wetsuit but they provide all gear if you don’t have your own.

My 10 year old son had a lesson last weekend. He was so excited to finally get out and do something other than walking and exploring around out neighbourhood . The team were professional and followed COVID guidelines. We had an awesome day out took a picnic and had a great day in the beach. Thanks again!

Booked my first lesson on 30.10.2021 at 11AM.
Having never surfed before i was already able to stand after the first two hours of having the lessons provided! Big thumbs up to the crew!

Talk about a dream team. Even when the weather packed in, they packed in a bunch of awesome activities to keep the kids entertained and challenged. thanks for being a great experience!

Amazing school holidays for kids with Aotearoa Surf School !!!!!!! My kids said THE BEST”
School holiday camp of 4 days. It was really nice organized, the kids did paddle board, surf at different beaches, snorkeling, kayaking, sliding on the sand dunewhat a program. My girls of 12 and 9 really enjoyed ! It will be a classic of the school holiday. Many thanks team you did a amazing job !response / report this review -

We hired boards and gear off book me and the guy who was running the business was really awesome. We only had it for a 2 hour slot but he gave us a half a day which made a huge difference. He even came out and had a quick surf with us and gave a few pointers

I've done 2HR surf lesson from others but they didn't teach much. I couldn't stand on surf board more than twice. Compare to them, Aotearoa Surf School taught me everything step by step and I found real fun of Surfing. Look for a man called Ben, he is a really good instructor.

Best weeks entertainment for our 9 year old boys this summer. They had a blast, learnt a lot including safety and how to suss out a good place to surf and caught some waves. The team were all super positive, and I loved their manner with the boys. Awesome. Definitely repeat!!

My 8 year son jumped in on one of the kids 5 day summer camp surfing lessons and he had the best time! The guys that took the lesson were fun, motivating and supported the kids 100% in the water. The only bad thing for us was that we had to go home and couldn't sign our son up for the full 5 days. Aotearoa surf school gave my son more confidence in the water while highlighting the importance of being safe. We will definitely be back next summer, if not before! Thanks to Che and the team at Aotearoa surf school.
