Very disappointed in the lack of vegetarian options, only one if I'm not wrong. The food however was very good, and decent portions. Quite pricey. Quick service.

We waited for more than 40 minutes after we made the order. The point is there were not many people at the time. If the food is good enough, it totally worth. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. Everything was too sweet. If you like sweet curry with a little bit spicy, this is your place. But if you want to try Thai food, please stay yourself away from this place. Also the rice was not fully cooked. I don’t understand how come a Thai restaurant serves half-cooked rice. Everyone knows rice is important to go with curry. The only reason I give one point to this place is that the prawns were quite fresh. Highly not recommended.

very terrible experience. We waited food for almost one hour. What’s worse, as a Asian people, I do not think it is a traditional Thai food. Chef murder sugar, and sugar murder me. everything is too sweet. But it is fair to say that the material of food is fresh. Not Recommend.

The staff - wonderfully attentive in just the right way. The food is some of the best Thai I've had in NZ. I don't actually think I can fault this restaurant. They really do go above and beyond.

Stopped by for dinner. The place wasn't too busy when we arrived but did slowly pack up. The staff were very inviting and friendly. They were quite helpful when trying to pick something from the menu.
The menu was set out a bit strange but there were a lot of items on there which sounded quite tasty. I went with the waterfall duck and sticky rice. It was a duck salad with puffed rice and a really tasty dressing. Although it was supposed to be spicy it really wasn't (for me anyway). Everyone else were also really happy with their meals.
Really good Thai food and really nice service. Definitely a place to come back to.response / report this review -

Excellent selection of meals, including vegetarian, and very reasonably priced. For parents with little kids, there is even a small play area with toys. Just check the slightly unusual opening days and hours as they might differ from other restaurants in town (hence the 4 stars out of 5 as it means a little extra effort instead of just turning up). Great restaurant overall.

This food is great and the staff is extremely kind. It has a nice atmosphere and it suits casual dinners as well as dates or formal meetings. The prices are tiny bit expensive but in general it's a great place!

Extremely attentive service. Fantastic curry. My wife and I had the green and red curries with tofu & veg. While a bit on the thinner side, curry flavor was amazing. Great ambiance albeit odd xylophone music throughout dinner. Very reasonable prices. I'd be back very frequently if I lived in Taupo.
