  Rude owner!!! She kicked our family out for now donating the full suggested donation. She regularly treated guests who come into her property as criminals who are looking to use her property. If she wants people to come and provide patronage hopefully she will change her attitude and treat people with kindness.

  This is a beautiful, thought-provoking place. The quotations scattered around add a real resonance to the lovely gardens, and it's nice to buy food and feed the birds as you go, too.
  We came here to scatter some of my mum's ashes in the big waterfall, as Rapaura was one of her favourite places. She said she felt spiritually at home here, and I can see why.
  It's run by lovely people (we didn't tell them we were scattering ashes, actually, perhaps we should have), and is clearly a labour of love.
  The cafe even has vegan cake (yay!) and lovely books on upcycling, crafts, spirituality and such. Well worth a trip if you are in the area.

  Really beautiful and quiet place. Make sure you follow the path all the way to the top to see the waterfall. Duck encounters were entertaining so buy some duck food from the office when buying your tickets.

  Really awesome gardens to spend time meandering through with family or a partner. Our two year old loved exploring and feeding the ducks, while the rest of us really appreciated the walks through dense forestation mixed with pleasant and varied gardens and ponds, all with a decent waterfall at the end to rinse off in. The café has won awards for its beef and lamb dishes over and over again.
  
  All well worth the $15 adult entry fee. I believe it's $6 for children but our two year old was free.
  
  Note that other reviews refer to a short walk, but it felt like a longer walk ato us. Perhaps because we were taking everything in. There's a long but gentle uphill slope to the waterfall at the end, with some steps and wooden walkways. Still do-able with a pram, but you might be pushing through some slight overgrowth (which just adds to the atmosphere).

  If you want a peaceful retreat from the everyday this is the place to go. Accommodation and food is top class and the staff just can't do enough for you. We will definitely be back again.

  This is a very pleasant place for a short walk. Sculpture gardens have amazing attention to detail. Cafe /restaurant food is delicious. Good for any age group.
