where to start I was told that I couldn't have the room I expressly asked for and had been told no problem , was told the room I was given was just the same as all the other studios , so okay went with it , there was some confusion when paying initially , but was told no probs we can sort it when we leave, only had the 1 milk for a 4 day stay , no wifi bed awful ,had been told that the dogs would cost an extra $10 this grew to each when we arrived but ok only 40 bucks more , when we left there was a discrepancy, I asked for a re check , no change but the 110 per night was now 139,again loads of confusion, drove off had a walk around checked web site (on my phone) went back ,said that there was an issue to which he denied ever talking to me on the phone never having any record of me , said that was the rate, always had been waving his arms around really agitated told me I hadn't been in a studio although thats what we were told we had been in,and had booked, then quite nastily told me he was charging us an extra $80 for damage , at this point I stepped towards him and he had the cheek to threaten to call the police , I said go on , and the argument got more heated , I decided to leave before I hit him , and on the way out went to see about this 'damage" he raced down to tell me it was the, so say, spa pool had green in it and we had been told to clean it , which was an utter lie , this man is a liar and a thief , it cost me an extra $100 to find this out , he;s selling out to the Chinese and couldn't have been ruder about them if he'd wee'd on them he is mad and an utter disgrace , he needs to be either taken out of the hospitality business or just taken out what a horrible little sneaky thief of a lying hound , there are not enough words in this world to show my contempt of this , I would say man but that is an insult to all men alive and dead, He ruined what had been a nice trip to Taupo , but that was mainly as we spent all our time away from his motel , what an overpriced ruin ,as was the property, I hope his Chinese purchasers back out of the deal especially after the way he spoke of them, I also pray I never see him crossing a road I'm deriving on as I wouldn't be answerable for my actions

AWFUL MANAGEMENT. RANG UP TO ENQUIRE ABOUT FACILITIES AND WAS SO RUDE. I TOLD MANAGER HE WAS BEING A BIT RUDE I JUST WANTED TO ASK A FEW QUESTIONS BEFORE BOOKING AND HE THEN HUNG UP ON ME. HUSBAND THEN RANG BACK TO QUESTION WHY HE HUNG UP AND WAS SO RUDE. NO APOLOGY AND SAID HE DOESN'T WANT US STAYING THERE ANYWAY. AWFUL WAY TO TREAT POTENTIAL GUESTS. WILL NEVER CONSIDER STAYING HERE.
