  3rd year we have stayed at Gables now. Always s great place to come too. Clean, tidy and friendly hosts!! Will be back next year too!

  Our room has an awesome view of Lake Taupo. We have a sitting/TV room and kitchenette, bathroom and king size bed in bedroom. The room is cozy, nicely painted, clean and neat. Peter, the owner, was very welcoming and informative. Home made cookies and apples in the room are a nice touch.

  Only downside is the second bed is a fold out couch. Better wifi than you have at home. Full mysky. Showers that'll rip your skin off. Great New Zealander runs the joint. Home baked cookies in your room everyday.

  Awesome place their rooms are so clean and fresh, loved the hot tub in our own room. Service friendly as and nothing was a problem. We will be back.

  Comfy, great private large hot tub, lake view and lake access only 20yds. Staff friendly and helpful. Facilities very modern, clean and complete. Definitely stay here.

  We have stayed at the Gables twice now and its been absolutely fabulous. Not only is the location fantastic, but Pete and his team are wonderful hosts, who go the extra mile to ensure your stay is awesome. The rooms are spectacularly clean, and come with all you need to have a comfortable stay. Little things like the fruit and biscuits provided each day are a really nice touch.
  Cant recommend The Gables enough. Thanks again for having us Pete!

  Best in Taupo for me and my family, I would suggest for every one to stay here ❤️.
  
  Room is cozy, clean and nice view to sunset.
