  We stayed here August 27, 2017. We are welcomed by Dennis who is really nice. He showed us around our room and even turned on the heater for us before we arrived. Overall all the staff are nice and friendly and have good knowledge of the area. Our room was tidy and cosy. The price for a night stay is also very reasonable. We have stayed in many hotels in Taupo and this is one of the good ones that I can recommend. Located just across the lake and is less than 5 mins to the town centre with a good size cosy room. Definitely a place to consider when you are going to Taupo.

  The owner is very friendly and helpful.
  The unit is exception clean and looks like newly refurbished. Very comfortable for staying.
  Next time we would like to book early and try out the cottage!

  We only had one night here but were totally pleased with our stay. Very clean comfortable all amenities we needed. We were made so welcome upon our arrival will be back in the future for sure

  We were fortunate enough to recently stay in the little cottage at Accent on Taupo. The layout of the cottage was quaint and cosy and for us it's location away from town was ideal, particularly given we were travelling with a young pup. Our dog had access to the a huge park at the rear of the accommodation as well as the walkway around Lake Taupo (which was great because it was less busy than other areas of the lake). Would reccomend this accomodation :)

  Stayed 3 nights with my wee dog. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. My key requirements -comfortable bed, good shower and clean units were all met to a high standard for a for a very fair and reasonable rate. I travel to Taupo regularly and didn't stay at my normal motel due to travelling with the dog. This Motel came up under "pet friendly" accommodation. After this experience would stay regardless of whether I have the dog.

  This is long overdue, so apologies to the wonderful hosts. We had the privilege of hosting our South African family at this wonderful warm spot. Upon arrival, the SA flag was put up in front of our cottage. This was just a super personal touch. The accommodation was in a different class, big arm chairs and couches and a lovely fireplace with all the amenities you will possibly need. The weather was very bad and we could hardly see the lake, but on this occasion the accommodation and hosts absolutely made up for it. Thanks s much and you will be our first call made when we visit again
