So disappointing, went in to find out about mountain biking tracks. The lady confirmed which way to the St.James track entrance, and said it was best to drive (she didn’t even ask what sort of car I had). When we went there in a 4-wheel drive the roads were closed and quite treacherous, a local told us the roads were tricky even for a 4wd and she suggested another route which also happened to be closed.
I-site sort it out! How can you send people into tracks without knowing the access facts - people are relying on you for safety and good information - so poor!!
Friendly staff able to help you an your activities and book for you
Bought tickets to Kaikoura Seafest. Very helpful and very accommodating with a complex order.
Really helpful ladies and so friendly 😄
Went to this i-Site on a Tuesday afternoon, instead of getting a warm welcome, the lady (older and sounded French) was very rude to us. Instead of offering suggestions of things to do like all i-Sites, we had to ask all the questions. If we didn't ask, she wouldn't have told us what to do. Asked her whether there is anything to do in the rainy cloudy weather, she look at us in disbelief and told us, what weather? Never been so put off with her customer service.
At the end of the day, you are representing your town and your country, don't treat tourist like scum.
The I site staff have all the information you will need at their fingertips..A great place to visit.
This is a great spot! It's a great start to find everything you want to do in the area!
Helpful staff and we'll organised information.
Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us find something to do on a rainy day.
Very nice employees. Lovely to speak with them.
Very helpful in organising trips we wanted to do. Phoned the companies for us and arranged the dates, then all we had to do was pay. Credit card that will do nicely. They were very chatting and gave local tips.
Good customer service and they are very greatful that you are visiting their town.
