A must do. Seriously. It changes your preception on life about aquatic life. DO IT. I did the dolphin swimming and it couldn't have been any better!

Could have asked for more The girls at the counter gave all the info we needed, the briefing was great and the encounter with dolphins was just perfect! Would definitely recommend to friends!

Loved it, from being in the water with the dolphins to the way they looked after me when I got sea sick lol an absolutely fabulous trip :)

LOVED IT! Swimming with the dusky dolphins was mind-blowing! Unfortunately we didn't get to swim with the dolphins on our first booking, however since it isn't the busy season yet, the staff was able to book us back in for the next day. On the first outing, they refunded us down to an operational charge and then gave us a discount for rebooking so our first booking ended up costing us almost nothing.
On the first outing (12:30 booking) we saw Hector's Dolphins (rarest dolphins in the world), some albatross, a seal and a humpback whale.
On our second outing (5:30 booking) we got to see and swim with the dusky dolphins. It was incredible. I didn't realize they would swim so close as to brush up against us! The sunrise was beautiful too. The staff as also wonderful. Highly recommended, must do!
* The staff did say that during the busy season (summer) they are normally fully booked for at least the following month and would not normally be able to rebook guests the next day.response / report this review -

The most amazing experience ever! Hundreds of dolphins swimming around you, doing tricks and flips. Once in a lifetime!

The cafe here is really nice, spacious outside seating in the sun plenty of options on the menu and cabinet food choices. A great spot to sit and have lunch while looking at the mountains and listening to the sea. Will come here again!

Swimming with the dolphins is the best experience you can think about. The team is very friendly and helpful. Definitely must do!!!

I have been here twice now and have yet to have an unsuccessful trip without seeing any dolphins. The staff is knowledgeable about the dusky dolphin and always want the swimmers to see as many dolphins as possible. Encounter Kaikoura can be seen as it is locally along the coast road. I will be back!

We did the albatross encounter. This occurs on a smaller boat with closer access to the birds. We saw several kinds of albatross, petrels, shags, and shearwaters. We also saw a blue shark, which came right to our boat. Gary also took us to see fur seals and dusky dolphins. He was very knowledgable and answered all our questions. We were very interested to see the albatross and sought out this tour.

Fantastic value for money. Lucky to swim with dolphins but also saw orca whales and fur seals as well. Very professional business. Helpful friendly staff. Laid back and very informative trip.

Went on a phenomenal dolphin encounter last October. As a travel professional I have been exposed to a number of tour operators and I can say these folks are some of the best. Professional from the time you step into their shop but still relaxed and letting you feel like your almost part of the team going out and searching the waters. They did a wonderful job accommodating many levels of interest and abilities while still ensuring the entire groups safety. Very glad I had an opportunity to go on their tour.
Most importantly we found dolphins and were able to swim with them a couple times!! What an amazing experience!response / report this review
