This is the best pharmacy in NZ. All the staff are extremely Professional, helpful, friendly, informative & approachable. They always go the extra mile. Very efficient & extremely helpful.My favourite pharmacy.Connie, Donna, Erica are the best!

I've been going to the pharmacy at Henderson Medical Center for nearly 6 months. They're always friendly, helpful and their service is with a smile. The owner 'Rob' is great Connie, Joseph and Thomas are always interested in how I am etc. The bad rating that I saw must have been a while ago because I see these people a few times a week and not once come across rudeness. I can't imagine it. Maybe the man was only filing in, or doesn't work there anymore. Great going team!

I had the worst service from here today and i can't get it out of my head! I left the prescription with the chemist and went around to the pre school on opposite side of the road to pick up my son, so they had a good 10-15mins to sort out the issue!
The Dr gave me a prescription for a formula called Neocate! The chemist don't know which formula to give me because according to them there are 4 types of Neocate available.

First of all the person I dealt with was very rude and so snappy with his responses.

Secondly I literally had to do his job for him which is contacting the hospital to get the correct formula for my daughter because all he had was excuses.

He said he tried to call the hospital but they hung up on him. They blamed the Dr who prescribed the formula saying the prescription was poorly written. I went back to my car and contacted the hospital myself and i got through ok. The lady at the hospital advised me that the chemist should know which formula as there are only two options (which is LCP or Gold) for babies under 12 months and that my daughter can have either or.
I gave the rude person at the chemist my mobile to talk to the lady from the hospital because as I was trying to explain what she was saying to me on the phone, he snapped and said " is that a doctor?". There was no "thank you" for contacting the hospital and getting the correct info just plain rudeness!!! The prescription is for two formulas, they only had one in stock which is LCP. I asked if i could get the Gold one tomorrow (which he will order for me today) in case my daughter does not like the LCP and he said "NO! We can't just give you bits and pieces, what you get today will be the same as tomorrow". I explained that the lady over the phone just said my daughter can have either or so what is the problem?! He said NO! At this point I had enough and said "your service is crap" and left.
Argh! If I still feel like this tomorrow I will make a formal complaint! So so disappointed at the service!!!

My family and I have been clients of the Henderson Medical centre and as a consequence the associated pharmacy since they opened. We have always had exceptional service from the team at the pharmacy. They are pleasant and knowledgeable and always prepared to go that little bit extra to ensure that our needs are well met.
