From the moment we entered the hotel, we received a 5 star experience, from the concierge, reception, bar/dining experience, room quality, value for money for the experience we received was top notch. I have recommended to many of my friends who were all interested in the 10/10 cocktails that we had with dinner, I tried the entire cocktail menu - was well worth it. I will definitely be returning.

Great central location with amazing rooms (bar the lack of storage drawers). Breakfast was lovely and a nice little slice of serenity despite the crowded location. Apparently they have an issue with sound from a nearby club, but it didn't really bother us.

Only giving this four stars due to the spa (which needs to be booked), was out of action for the duration of our stay.

I took my best friend here for Lunar New Year High Tea. The food was beautiful and they were so accommodating to our food allergies. Their vegan options were beautiful, and the chef even came out to talk about the food. We could chose whatever type of tea we wanted at any point of our meal, and the staff were lovely and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely going back!

10 out of 10 in every aspect. The room itself was beautiful, clean, luxurious and felt a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The bed was literally heaven! The shower head was so big it was like a massage! I didn't want to leave.
The food was beautiful at Cooke's Restaurant but the best of all was the staff. Every single person we met on staff were so welcoming, went above and beyond for us and were so very kind. We won't be going anywhere else in Auckland for accommodation because this hotel is a one of a kind. Can't wait to come back already! Special mention to the concierge and check-in staff. No fault's at this place, you have to go!

I'd stayed at the Hotel Grand Windsor previously and the stay was ok, but the Hotel has seriously upped their game since I last stayed.

Checkin experience was great, really professional and welcoming. Much nicer sat down and checking in rather than in the previous office whilst building works were taking place.

When I got to the room there were 2 welcome treats, plus some Devonport Chocolates - a nice touch and made me feel valued. The room itself was very nicely decorated and the bathroom was great, with really nice

Although I didn't have time to visit the restaurant, it looks lovely and definitely somewhere I'd look to try next time I visit Auckland.

Very nice and chick hotel! The room was beautiful and very clean. The staff was really helpful even though there was a misunderstanding about the minibar. All in all, I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it! Cheers!

Reno looks finished now. Has to be the best value hotel in central Auckland. Really nice too, lovely period art deco type cosy rooms and ours was really spacious! Good staff too. Recommend highly.

This could become a nice hotel.
Chaos right now as the management chose to open when still being built for cashflow i guess but likely a mistake.
Very disorganised ,no service room first night second night the guy didnt even show up to make up room until 5pm saying no staff.

A lovely room and friendly staff. The site is in the middle of renovations, so expect a bit of noise early in the morning and show elevators. Enjoyed my time; would visit again only after the remodel has finished.

Don't think the bedding or room had actually been cleaned. Room was dingy and dark. Room was directly above nightclub, was kept up every single night we stayed, not even ear plugs worked so no way around it. Paid a decent amount for the room too so very pissed off to not be able to sleep. Close proximity, staff were nice but honestly the nightclub noise just overshadowed all else. Would advise against if you actually plan to sleep in this place
