Great hosts. Everything I need.

The brown kiwi was a great place to stay for me, the hosts are incredibly nice and they have a big collection of books, which you can take and place some of your own in return.
The only downside I've found to it was that the air in the 8 bed room was quite bad at night even tho we left the window open. But apart from that I had an awesome stay!response / report this review -

This place is great! In a good area, well supplied kitchen, kept very clean, friendly staff! It's also well set up for socializing with other travelers. The dorms have very tall bunks, which is great for those on the bottom bunk, less great for those on the top, haha. Great place though, I definitely recommend it! :)

Perfect place for stay in Auckland. Ponsonby is very nice, not far at all from the center, and you have a bus stop close to the hostel.
The hostel is clean, not very big, it's like a house, where you meet a lot of people easily, with a nice garden. It's a little bit expensive, but it worth it !response / report this review -

Cozy and friendly staff. The building is a bit tired and the kitchen, especially fridges, are inadequate for the number of people. Nice location and free parking outside.

Quirky and comfortable with a really homely vibe. Lovely communal areas and comfortable beds. Steep laundry charges ($8 to wash and dry).
