Best little shop on the island! Essential daily stop for all holiday needs; including food, pharmaceuticals and coffee. Had an excellent bottle of red wine recommended by the assistant and went back for more a few days later.

Shop holds a good range of freeze dried ready meals for all those people going on the Stewart Island tramps.

Well stocked with a wide range of provisions. The coffee from the machine is surprisingly good and they try to keep some items of hot food for the season when the hotel is in reduced hours. Gas canisters are stocked, which is useful if you are tramping and you have flown in.
