I really liked this hostel ! Lex ans Kaye are friendly hosts, the hostel is definitly special, in a very positive way ! If you don't want to spend much money for a hostel you are on the right place! The hostel is a bit older, but this is what makes it interesting. I would definitly come back ! Thanks for the Time!

Pretty good for the rates you pay. It cam get really cold as it is near the sea. Gotta pay for Wi-Fi but you'll only get the signal when you r near the router. If you stay on the ground floor, don't bother to pay for the Wi-Fi. Facilities n toilets r sufficient n kept clean.

Wonderful, charming fair, priced place to stay. Old school, with VHS-player, great kitchen area. Liked it a lot.

Great price ($20) for what you get. It's in an OLD post office building. The place definitely has character. You get exactly what you'd expect - plus free wifi. It's about a 2 minute walk to the ferry (to Stewart Island) from the backpackers. Very convenient. Plus, they were very accommodating when we needed to arrive late and leave early.
