Definitely overpriced for a cabin at $100 per night. Facilities were clean but long walks to kitchen and dining room. No comfortable TV lounge for backpackers etc. A little bus shelter at gate for pick ups would be nice. Disappointed there was no spa as advertised.

Total waste of money! You would not like to meet the lady on the reception any more minute. A powered site had 3G signal, but no usable socket. After moving to an unpowered site, there was no signal at all, so we still had to stay away from the camp during the evening. Despite warm toilets, an electric socket or even wifi in the kitchen is unheard of. What a poor country. Learn eg. from Thailand about hospitality.

Great affordable camping! Wonderful location, generous sized campsites and very clean. The gentleman in reception was wonderfully helpful, even let us leave our caravan there while we went to Milford Sound.
The showers could be improved in layout and pressure, but overall was a great spot!

good views to the hills of Te Anau lake, nice sunsets. It was very cleaned up but for a two persons room too expansive, even though we got a cozy room (all accomodations in that town are very expensive).

By far the worst place i have ever stayed! Staff were unfriendly on arrival, we had to put up with other quests smoking right outside our door drifting through the window into our room. The room was incredibly small. The bunk bed didn't even have any other bedding than a sheet on the top bunk or a pillow. We then asked management why our TV was not working and was told rudely that i should try and turn it on as if i hadn't already done that and got told that it would have been working that morning. My partner went back to say it is definitely not working and staff said that we would be reimbursed to which i am still waiting. We both got up early and tried to have showers which had absolutely no hot water. For the price and the standard of service I think this place is a rip-off. Trying to charge for sleeping on top of the bed, having to clean dishes and do rubbish. What are we paying you $100 for? Really ruined our experience of Te Anau and wanting to support local accommodation. Would NEVER go back!!!
