Handy prices, well maintained rooms and nice host
Totally unaffected by the glitz of modern tourism. Quiet and quirky. Don't come to this authentic eccentric park if you want sterile hyperclean surfaces and WiFi gigabytes. Come here if you want something real and a little out of the way with charm and beauty. The view is amazing. We stayed at park in a van but the hotels have stupendous views and was tempted. The motels are quirky, a touch dusty but very cool. Highly recommended for people like us that couldn't get into the Queenstown-style ratrace style tourist conveyer belt and wanted some old NZ charm.
Cold house upon arrival, with a rude host who wanted $20 more a night that whats advertised on their OWN website. Would not stay again, also far from town.
Beautiful views and friendly staff -very affordable. Well recommended!
This place is well worth staying at. They have a variety of cabins, camping sites, and other rooms at good prices including numerous "budget" options. The communal facilities are quite good, the setting is fantastic (views of the lake and mountains) and the staff/owners are helpful.
Manapouri Motels and Holiday Park was our place of choice in town. It was quaint, well kept and clean. It has a nice character with great vibes. All that came at a very affordable rate. We loved all the vintage Beetles cars and the location is right opposite Fraser beach. The shower and toilet were clean and we did not have to pay for hot shower (plus point). Management provided a few basic cooking items/utensils in the very spacious kitchen. We felt extremely at home and comfortable during our stay. Would strongly recommend for anyone who wants to be away from all the crowds up there in Te Anau.
Super clean and well maintained old motel.
Good for the price .
The place is old but kept clean. Has amazing views.
