We stayed at this lovely B&B for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were even nicer than in the photos, the room was great, the bed was very comfortable and the room and common areas were immaculately clean. The Spa pool was a gem after a long day, and theres a beautiful pool as well. The internet worked exceptionally well, and the TV in the common room had Netflix so we could log in and watch movies. The B&B was very quiet and we practically had the place to ourselves. There may not be excellent views from all of the rooms as the building is more like a massive house, but the common area/ lounge/dining and patio area all have stunning views over the valley. Definitely staying here next time! Cant wait to go again! Breakfast was nice too- just a simple continental breakfast with toast/ cereals/yoghurts/ fresh fruit/ and delicious fresh pressed local coffee. A 10 minute walk into town, a short steep climb on the way back, but its not too bad. Highly recommend this place.

Overall a good experience. The cleaning team were very nice and even helped procure the right change for laundry. We had a gorgeous view, however some rooms do not have incredible views, so it's worth inquiring which room you are getting. The wi-fi was painfully bad (the worst place in a string of 15 hotels we went to). When I asked about the issue no fix was attempted. Close to town, but only if you are in good shape for a relatively steep hill.

Sehr unfreundliche Begrüßung. Bevor überhaupt eine Begrüßung stattfand wurden wir von der Empfangsdame auf das 10 km/h Tempolimit in der Hotelauffahrt hingewiesen und gedroht wir würden unseren Führerschein in Neuseeland verlieren und wenn jemand in der Auffahrt gelaufen wäre hätten wir diesen getötet. Dazu ist zu sagen, dass die Auffahrt sehr steil ist und wir einen Mitwagen mit kleinem Motor hatten der sich entsprechend laut anhört. Sehen konnte sie uns nicht. Ein Schild mit dem Hinweis auf das Tempolimit ist am Anfang der Auffahrt nicht vorhanden. Außerdem handelt es sich um ein zivilrechtlichen Hinweis. Danach wollte sie sofort unsere Kreditkartennummer, weil angeblich andere Gäste in den Zimmern Sachen kaputt machen würden, obwohl das Zimmer bereits im Vorfeld bezahlt wurde. Dabei blieb sie penetrant im Zimmer stehen. Erst auf mehrmalige Aufforderung verließ sie das Zimmer und wartete im Büro auf die Daten. Insgesamt nicht empfehlenswert. Sucht euch lieber eine andere Unterkunft in Queenstown.

Stayed here in the last week of January 2017.. Some traps should be considered before making a booking. Many rooms have no view. The place is rather regimented by the manager. Quite a difficult walk to the town because of the steep climb. The ceiling was so low I could not raise my arms to wear a t shirt. Good view from a common open balcony but the weather must be good to sit there. A poor experience for me.

The persons are very friendly, the room is clean and nice.
You have more than you need like something to wasch your cloths and so on.
The view ist wonderfull and the way to city is short.
Wonderful hotel for a great weekend/ week or day in Queenstown. :))response / report this review
