I have had the disappointment of eating at Cobb and Co today 14/12/17. the pork belly entree was stringy and had no crackle, the pavlova was chewy and the chips on the fish and chips were dry and old. i had dined there on Saturday previous and had quite a good meal ( the same). We let them know to know avail.. they were not interested. Sad because we like dining here. also have noticed that they used to have compliments/complaints forms on the tables.gone now ..I wonder why.

Every time I have had the misfortune to end up at Cobb and co Invercargill I found the meal to be of very poor quality ,the pork belly was stringy and the crackle like rubber the dessert came out of a packet and that was gross. My sister had cod and chips, the fish was dry and chips were cold and smelt bad. I will never be talked into going to Cobb and co again. That meal was disgusting. So not worth my $28

I am rating this restaurant as I am sitting here waiting for next course. We came to entrance and waited to be shown to a table. Several staff walked by but ignored us. 1 more minute we would have left. Have finished entree and sitting waiting. Again many staff walked past and empty dishes stayed on table. Also my glass has been empty for ages. Finally taken 15 mins later. There are quite a lot of staff and not many customers. Very slow and poor service.
Have just got 2nd course. It is not very nice. Fish tasteless and overcooked. Chips oily. Salad swimming in oil. Had to ask for a second drink.
Service better after 2nd course. But again waited for desert. Only ones left in restaurant by now.
We were there nearly 2 hours. One positive we did get a credit on our account for my mains.response / report this review -

Friendly enough staff but everytime ive been there the food is never that great a bit slow.for instance this salad the lettuce was sour and yuk, and didnt offer to change it or anything, also another time we went there for my nephews birthday it was so so slow, and one of the waiters spilt a pint of beer over my son, she was only new but a bit clumsy.

What a fantastic service, venue and menu for the Christmas day luncheon. There is nothing i would change. Thank you Cobb and Co Invercargill for a wonderful experience.
