  Older style building. Really a small hotel. Great host and hostess. Breakfast included in fee.

  Things I enjoyed: most affordable place in Invercargill I could book same day, warm reception, included breakfast, and bed warmer. Things that could have been better: more outlets in my single room (splinters or a power strip would have made charging electronics easier), wifi that reached my room instead of only the common area that had others watching TV, and locks that were less sticky when trying to open doors.

  Avoid..
  not a good place, pokey, horrible with dirty communal toilets and showers.
  Good luck if you stay..
  I stayed my second night at the Kelvin Hotel for the same money with ensuit.
  Have no idea how this place gets its reviews, I was certainly mislead

  A cute couple ran this place. They were super helpful for dinner selection. The Wifi was good, breakfast was tasty, and beds were comfy.
