Have to pay for different items in different parts of the store. Inconvenient if you're buying products from multiple area's.

Can't fault the products or facilities but the phone service is very very frustrating! Called probably 7 times in one day trying to get a question to the timber yard but Every time I was transferred from reception the timber yard didn't pick up and the call gets diverted back to the reception where you have to ask to be transferred again!? Tried multiple times during the day but now I will buy my $200 worth of mdf sheets from mitre 10 who actually answered the phone in the timber yard! Bunnnings loss . Was a Saturday times between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm don't bother ringing yard then unless they read this and address it 👍

-Customer services desk employees unwilling to search a product due to being 'I.t illiterate' in their own words.
-90% of employees avoid interaction with customers and when approached are unhelpful and abrasive.
Bunnings is able to undercut the market by employing unskilled unknowledgeable staff. At this point I would rather pay slightly more for good service across the road at Placemakers Riccarton.response / report this review -

Lost customer for life. Bag searches at the till are over the top. Spent ten total minutes in the store, strait to what I wanted and to checkout. Wasn't targeted for suspicious activity, just searched at checkout on policy. Cycle commuters like myself will always have some kind of bag.

Bunnings is always pretty good, and we always find what we want there. It does pay to shop around for the larger ticket items though.

Again, another visit with grumpy staff who seem to avoid customers. Wait in line for a service desk, overhearing them dismissing the customer in front of me. I seem to have angered staff asking about getting blinds cut to size.

If you are going to Bunnings in Addington, Christchurch to purchase timber in the drive through part make sure you bring your own saw , tape measure and paper to cut the wood and write down the sizes etc. There is hardly any staff on and the few that are there arn't interested in helping. Also alot of the prices are hard to find for the wood.. If i had a clone i would send him there to manage the place.

Fantastic place, fantastic people to the young girl that was working on the door Saturday the 24/9/16 around 2pm you were fantastic and whatever they are paying you isn't enough being greeted in such a friendly manner and also made the time to say goodbye and thanks to me, made my day! 5 stars
