Pretty good venue but the acoustics from on stage are very hard to work with as a musician.

Great venue. I've been lucky enough to perform here a couple of times (part of big choirs) and of course to see shows here. Always a pleasure to be at the MFC.

Seen many different events here from kids concerts, comedy, big bands, solo artists, charity gigs. All seats have great views of the stage. Sound is amazing.

Big, airy, great sound and easy to get to - it's really about what's going on than the venue though :)

A tale of two stories. Ugly, dated and dirty on the outside, but a lot better inside the theatre with wonderful acoustics and stage setting. It's a good thing it's not the other way around.

Fantastic concert accustics. Great amenities. The decor may look a little dated and kitch but it works.

Works well for music, but at two recent comedy shows the sound wasn't up to scratch in our sections of the Theatre. They had to move a number of patrons in the John Cleese/Eric Idle show. Arrive early if you want to buy a drink.

Great venue - been here for many concerts and shows - most recently the Bill Bailey show. Good view - even from up in the gods.

It's a good venue, starting to get a bit dated, but high-quality building materials and excellent design mean that it's charming instead of faded. Some seats are definitely better than others though. Also prices can be pretty high depending on the event.
