Most of the time (95%) the jolly chicken and crispy pata were cooked really good but there are times na overcook or meat is old, and not crispy. But hey its a lot better than boracay :) way better.

Emailed an order about some dessert to take away. After a bit of a misunderstanding about the price we finally managed to clear thing up.
It was easy enough to pick up.

To be fair my sisig was quite nice but everything else we ordered wasn't. The longganisa on the longsilog was poorly seasoned and the texture of the meat was odd. The siomai was also poorly seasoned. We were going to give their halo-halo a go but they ran out of ube ice cream.
The cafe is cosy and clean albeit a little bit run down. The exterior does not much for the imagination and could do with a little pimping.
Although, the waitress was courteous and attentive and the prices are relatively cheap, taste and flavour does come first and unfortunately Turo-Turo is lacking in this aspect.
It does have a huge potential and I would love for them to revisit their menu or rethink their menus.response / report this review -

I am craving to eat a Filipino cuisine but unfortunately I am so disappointed. Foods are not really good for my taste, ordered halo halo as I like it so much because of the ube ice cream but it turns out that the ube ice cream is so awful, it's not even an ice cream but it's like an ice candy instead. Staffs are friendly though.

This is a great place to find authentic Filipino cuisine however it does that a while for your food to come and the price is pretty steep.
I always order the Joyful chicken which is 2 pieces of fried chicken with rice and gravy and this always takes 20 minutes to cook. The server does warn you about the wait time which is nice but it can take more than 20 minutes if the shop is busy.
The desserts especially the leche flan is really overpriced but i would recommend that you try the halo-halo.response / report this review -

Lovely food, fantastic service! The staff are the most friendly people I've come across in a restaurant. Food is made with love, for sure! You cannot go to this place and not get dessert!!! They're super sweet but very delicious!

A nice simple Filipino food café. The staff are friendly and polite, a typical filipino hospitality. The food are a bit too salty to my liking, though if you have it with rice, the saltiness is gone masked/absorbed by the rice. If it's closer to the central city, I would come back more often.
