Nice place has a pool for the kids and a few options of 1,2,3 or 4 bedrooms or caravan styles.

I worked in the area stayed here a few weeks,Not ideal for "backpackers/expacts" better of staying at "rumida lodge" for the backpacker vibe. This place is for kids and family's no quiet time here EVER!!! Great for family's though.
    Positives:
    .staff were friendly
.Chinese restaurant next door really good food
    .shops close by

    Negatives:
.back to back school trips 7days a week footbool teams and net ball must be a discount for the schools. the kids run riot and the adults get drunk every night
.Wifi is $10 for 1 gig doesn't last Long at all with a painfully slow connection
.$100 bond even if you booked and paid online no refund policy so make sure you have it or you can't stay
.There are some long term stayers there a lady and her husband she will try to get free stuff from you (food/alcohol) the husband go's through the bins after he has seen some one clean out there vans

Apart from that it has everything you need, If you are a family on a budget with a bunch of kids they will love it here play park a pool massive BBQ area. If you are a backpackers or expact wanting the backpack vibe or peace and quiet don't stay here unless there is nothing elsewhere

I have rated this place 1 star is because I got eaten alive with bed bugs. Yes. Bed bugs. All over my legs, arms, hands, back and neck. The rooms are infested with bugs such as alive cockroachs, cicadas and spiders. The rooms are cold and have no extra pillows or blankets. The staff is rude and disrespectful and the walls are definitely not sound proof at all. I stayed at this place for a week and it was only room serviced 1 time. They then told us days before we left that they were keeping the bond we had to pay in addition Because our rooms weren't clean. This is ridiculous as the cleaners weren't cleaning them in the first place. Overall I had a terrible stay at this place with nothing good to say about it.

Our room was at least clean & it looks like the (tiny) bathroom has had a recent upgrade with new tiles & basin (but excluding the toilet & shower head). However there ends the positives. The bedding was woefully inadequate - we were COLD in the night - and there were neither extra covers nor an electric blanket available. The bed sloped to the sides and the furniture - plastic chairs - was extremely uncomfortable. Agree the $100 bond is ridiculous, and for the price, I would expect free Wi-Fi (or at least vouchers for a capped connection). We will be looking for alternative accommodation next time we're in Auckland.

If you can stay somewhere else, please do. Bond requirements are ridiculous, rooms are lucky if they are 1 star, customer service is non existent-rather rude and very unhelpful.

Average and kinda clean. Was the only place that had any accommodation during our Auckland stay. Had a cool little indoor pool that the kids loved.

Please read all the negative reciews they are correct . A cesspit of a place. Arrived with 5 week old baby saw the rooms and was absolutely disgusted. Old , deceprid and over priced. What they charge is disgusting. Staff member at reception was NOT helpful , as reviews otherwise say it's all about the money for these people. Ended up in full blown argument with staff member as instead of accepting we were NOT happy staying he was nightmare. As said avoid this place like the plague.

$40 for 1 night for two people. $1 per 9 minutes of shower hot water. Was kept up by a very rowdy netball team. I suppose this is what you expect closer to the city.

Stayed here three times. The staff are pretty friendly but all of the rooms and facilities are really clean, quite surprised being a holiday park but they were seriously cleaner than hotels I've stayed in before. Really cheap and neat and tidy. Now stay here whenever I am in Auckland :)

BE AWARE OF $100 bond charged at entrance or no key even if you paid for the room prior and no money return for cancelation!!

Never been to place that is worse than this one. Microwave was bought in 80s I think. Bed covers are very dirty. Hot water comes in flashes. Power points come off. No heater.

Someone blocked the entrance to my door with a car, they told me which room to go and deal with it. Wow.

All they care about is money. And ID provided for photocopy or no keys either. Why on earth they need it if they have credit card??

I booked online with booking.com and made the c/c details to (so I thought) to only secure my booking, then cancelled it as something else turned up cheaper and much closer to Waiwera Hot Pools, Only to find our within those few minutes they had taken out $200. I rang them: Auckland North Shore Motels & Holiday park and spoke to a female reception who said "She not authorised to do the refund". The excuses within the past few days with the accommodation I had booked then cancelled within a few minutes were disgusting. Its as if she was waiting online for someone to make a booking then withdraw the money straight away. Booking.com staff were also really suprised with their response and not being helpful whatsoever. I'M DISGUSTED. I lost my cool and swore only because of my frustration and knowing they WILL NOT refund me anything. So my kids and I will not be able to go on any holiday before school starts. HEARTLESS SCUMBAGS WHO ARE DESPERATE FOR MONEY . "What goes around Comes around" I would NEVER book with these guys EVER!! NO PROFESSIONALISM just MONEY HUNGRY.

This was the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. I was accompanied by 15 adults and 52 children. Never again. The place was grubby, power points didn't work, the owners weren't the slightest bit interested in us as all they wanted was our money upfront. We would have been better camping at the beach! I wouldn't have put my dog in one of the rooms they tried to put us in. This place needs to be thoroughly gone over by OSH and Health and Safety.
