  To be honest, I'd be struggling to recommend this motel.. Huge amount of traffic noise is the main issue. But a complicated process to connect to WiFi, (not helped by inaccurate instructions) and a room which was so saturated with air freshener it was almost choking, didn't help.

  This is the place that I deserve. Beautiful room, feels like home, I love it, brand new room, tidy, comfortable, it has all the characteristics published in its website and more. Bryan, the owner (Bilingual), is a very nice person, helpful. I wish I could take this place with me for the rest of the trip around NZ. I totally give 5 stars to this excellent hotel! Very very nice style!

  Great Motor Inn, comfortable bed. Bronny at reception will sort out, with reference of what to visit around the local area, and what to eat. Need a meal in the city, don't drive, Murray (Casino Courtesy Bus) will pick you up, return you at the end of the night (for free). Just see Bronny at reception.
  
  Rooms huge and looks like they have been recently updated. Very functional and tidy. We look foward to visiting the Astor again, in the near future.

  Certainly the best motel we've ever stayed at. The room was large with a very modern kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom. The upper floor rooms offer a good amount of privacy which can be rare in motels.
  
  There's also free WiFi, and reasonably priced continental breakfasts at $10 another rarity in hotels/motels. A nice little touch is providing free freshly ground coffee for you to use.

  Really enjoyed staying here. The hosts were so welcoming from the time we arrived, helping with directions and giving suggestions on where to go to eat.
  The room was really neat and tidy and spacious. Loved the fact they included make up remover wipes in the bathroom as I had forgotten to bring them! Lots of tv channels also a plus.
  Bed was really comfortable and the shower was great.
  Also enjoyed pats with the resident cat.
  Thanks so much for providing us with such a lovely place to stay.
