  Love this resort. It's so peacefully secluded in trees. You have your own hut. The huts are great with balconies. You feel like you're in a forest. The rooms themselves are great with excellent amenities. Heated floors. Rain showers. Air Conditioning. Fridge. It's a bit of a walk to your room from the central area. They can give you a ride in a golf cart and help you with luggage. The front desk was excellent at fulfilling all our needs. It's a Sofitel brand.

  Set in the hills of Pauanui, amazing secluded location with private rooms. Stayed there for two nights and loved it, the heated bathroom floors were a delight! Only downside was that you have to park your car in the carpark, which means it is quite an elevated walk to your room (you can drive to drop your luggage off to your room). Price was very reasonable.

  Nice place. The Miha restaurant is quite nice. The food selection is a little limited, but sufficient and quite tasty. The rooms are a little old and run down, but cozy and quaint.
  
  The nearest town is very small without a lot to do. I recommend researching and planning what you want to do ahead of time.

  This hotel/resort is in a lovely elevated setting in native bush with great views from some rooms.

  We stayed at Puka Park over the 2016/17 NYE period. The resort is set in the hills and is extremely private. Perfect for a honeymoon or quiet weekend away. Our room was prepared each day and the views across the tree tops were very peaceful.
  
  We were impressed with the service from Sean, Nisha & Nigel. The food at the restaurant is delicious, we had the chicken salad and salmon salad for lunch and it was perfect. On NYE we enjoyed a set 3-course meal, which was one of the highlights. We used the tennis courts, swimming pool, spa and would love to come back here and visit one day again in the future.
