Friendly atmosphere but not the best facilities. For example, the shower had no real control, just burning hot or cold. The kitchen had quite a few broken stovetops. Free soup was nice to help budget dinners. Wifi was spotty and generally only worked when using Facebook applications. Beds were clean and comfy enough.

Loved this place cool staff and attracted good clients. Off the beaten path enough to keep it quiet but super close to town if you wanted to go in and have a good time.

Great location and friendly staff. Only downside was that the heaters ate centrally managed, so you can't set the temperature of your room. The heaters also switch off after a while by themselves, which is a nightmare in winter.

Great budget accomodation! Spa was working great, communal cooking facilities. We had a group of 4 singles and 2 couples. We ended up with our own section which suited us perfectly. Great laundry facilities and atmosphere. Perfect for a budget holiday!

Favourite backpackers for our trip! Rooms clean and cosy, staff are helpful, friendly and very accommodating. 2 minute walk to town but in a quieter street so no noisy foot traffic. 1000% recommend

Great hostel! We stayed in a large 5-bed-room with very comfortable beds. It could have been a bit less dirty..

It's ok. No bunk beds in my room so it was good. Lacking spots to plug your phone charger, just 2 for a 5-people bedroom. They give you free soup. Clean enough. Close to everything.

Clean rooms and facilities. The staff are very friendly and they have unlimited free wifi. The view from our room was fantastic too. It's a short walk to everything in town so you definitely don't need a car while you're staying here but there is plenty of parking if you have one. To top it all of its very affordable. This was my first time staying at a backpackers and I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely be staying again next time im in Queenstown.

Door didn't lock and receptions response was 'it's my finish time now so I can't help.' Nothing was done for the next three nights I stayed there. Beds were comfortable and room was pleasant. Kitchen was nice. Shower pressure was very hard and left marks on my skin.

Such a great surprise of a place. We had no idea but there was a) free soup for dinner and b) a hot tub!!! Fantastic location. The ONLY downside for my light-sleeping friends was that, despite quiet hours starting at 10 pm at this backpackers, the place across the way was a bit rowdy until late in the night (early morning). I am lucky enough to be a heavy sleeper and so I still give this place five stars.
