I ordered the smashed avo. I’m coeliac so asked for gluten free bread paid $21 they gave me one tiny piece of gluten free bread. Response was “it normally comes with one piece of bread” but the normal wheat toast is a giant thick slab. All cafés I’ve been to offer two pieces to make up for that. Paid for a tiny, sad meal and left still hungry. Just a really cheap thing to do when the meal is a few ingredients and costs over $20.
Our waitress kept ignoring us, another waitress could see I was disappointed so gave me a few marshmallows (I’m not sure she had full context of what was going on) but that didn’t really solve the issue. A shame really. Won’t be coming back.response / report this review -

Food is of a very high standard and service is very good however prices for the breakfasts are high especially when you must pay $6 for each additional item E. G. Bacon plus another $6 for two hash cakes etc. Also there was only one smallish slice of bread for two eggs.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience as always, thank you. Supreme food,compliments to the chef ,friendly efficient staff, pleasant surroundings, felt proud as a local taking guests here.

The owners and staff are brilliant in this business and remember their clientele well, even when months have gone by, between visits. They pay attention to the tasty food that they serve, the wonderful coffee they brew and especially their customers in their cafe.
