This is a great place for coffee and food, its has a great setting like a county feel. The food is a reasonable price for the quality food you are getting. Portions are also very good. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Five stars all the way, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We have some dietary restrictions so always have questions about ingredients. They had no problem with checking and letting us know. The decor is fantastic as well as the food. I ordered the waffles which were a work of art and tasted as good as they looked. They have coloring books for kids large and small, books to read while you sit in the big comfy couch by the fire, and of course the long table which encourages people to sit together so you can meet new people over great food and coffee. Fantastic place. Only improvement I could suggest would be to have a few more vegan options.

This popular country cafe is a treat to discover on SH2 north of Katikati. It's in a beautiful setting and serves up fabulous, freshly made food and delicious barista-made coffees. Choose to dine outside at the rustic, oversized picnic tables or inside and soak in the memorabilia from yesteryear. Sit at a choice of tables, on cozy retro sofas or at the cafe's namesake: a long, white table where both an individual or a large group would be comfortable. The food is delicious and handcrafted, with lots of choices from the cabinet or menu. If you arrive early enough you'll find their Apple Cinnamon Scrolls on offer - my favourite!
Closed Monday and Tuesday. Highly recommended!

The Long Table Cafe has so much to offer, ample parking, natural playground, lots of choices of seating locations inside and outside, eclectic selection of nostalgia and amazing fresh food. I bought a club sandwich which was substantial and a cold drink for $9.50. The cafe is also mobility accessible.

It's well worth your time; spend a whole morning or afternoon here.

The food is remarkable. Great breakfast menu, too!

Julie and John are top quality people, if you want friendly and entertaining conversation - you've got it! Julie's got a dangerously sharp wit too, watch out.

The surrounding area is also great too. Classic Kiwi rolling farmlands leading to coast line.
