Amazing place to stay. Very welcoming and true to their name - plenty of beds and books.

One of my favorite places I've stayed by far! Wall to wall bookshelves set the atmosphere immediately when you walk in. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, I arrived and left at awkward times, but they were always accommodating. Will definitely be staying here again next time I'm back in Tromsø!

Lovely friendly service. Quaint well dressed rooms. Great place to meet people. A little expensive for a hostel but not bad by Norway standards and most rooms can sleep two or three so better shared.

Beautiful aesthetics, a hostel from heaven for book lovers and topped off with a brilliant manager who always wanted to help out. The chalkboard doors and walls together with the wall-sized map created a sense of community as you were given a glimpse into the lives of everyone that has stayed there before you.
It is a 10min walk to the city centre and a 5min walk to the closest major bus stop and a 5min walk in the opposite direction to the nearest restaurant; a pizzeria with very generous portion sizes.
