Excellent quiet location removed from enter city but close enough to have easy working access to bus and train stations as well as the sights. Very clean with extremely helpful and courteous staff. Tea room and breakfast facilities were delightfully refined and restful. Substantial, fresh breakfast offerings. We would definitely return there and recommend it to others.

Economical choice. Nice building. Comfortable beds. Free tea and coffee round the clock. They have been helpful for early check-in and late check-out.

A grand hotel with great character. The breakfast was of a good standard and variety - meats and salamis, eggs, cereal, fruit, juices and so on. The staff easily recommended several places to eat close by, and the hotel is situated close to the centre of Bergen - less than a 15 minute walk to the harbour.

Very cozy small old house converted into a hotel. You get an authentic old world feel here compared to the bustling modern Oslo.
