An excellent place for stay, luxurious rooms, food, covering all variants of dishes in the breakfast, lunch and dinner. Scenic view from rooms. Serendipity. Brings solace to your mind.

The restaurant has a nice view, very relaxing place to be and lots of interesting historical sites on the island you can visit, including guided tours. The rooms are okay, beds comfortable. The food is mediocre, particularly the dinner dishes were anticlimactic, looked great but didn't taste anything

Its an OK place to spend a night. The standard on the rooms is not as high as on other regular hotels. The TV signals were completely missing, or very bad, on the rooms we had. The rooms facing the water were very hot due to no AC.
Lunch was great as was dinner. But the stay was a bit amputated one of the people working there which was a bit rude and gave bad service.
As for Oscarborg itself, its gorgeous and well worth a visit. A piece of important Norwegian history.response / report this review -
