Close to the airport outside Oslo. Great standard, goog food, excellent breakfast. Small rooms, but good standard.

Easy access from the airport via shuttle buses. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good and the basic rooms provide all you need for a few nights. Plenty of space and various rooms to use for conference.

Our team stayed at this hotel for the AFPT Convention over September 01 - 03. The accommodations were excellent as well as the food services, however a grey sweater was taken from one of our rooms. We had not left the hotel during our stay and the rooms were being cleaned daily. This did not ruin our experience, although it is a shame that we would have to concern ourself with theft.

The clarion is a aesthetically beautiful hotel with a very lovely facade. But that's about where the beauty ends. Walking through a wall of smoke from smokers by the entrance I am greeted by a reception with obnoxious loud music and the most incompetent staff I've encountered so far. The room itself is fine, the windows are a pain to open. If you manage to open them at all.
The restaurant wishes to seat you, but no one decides to glance towards the entrance. Far too long of a wait.
And speaking of waiting, you would think they slaughtered and ground the beef themselves with how long it took for our burgers to arrive. It also had little to no seasoning and despite plenty of grease tasted very dryly.

On the plus side: Comfortable hotel. Good breakfast. Nice for conferences. Good beds. Good free coffee.
On the "not so great side": sauna and steam room are a joke. Wasn't hot at all. They are situated right in the middle of the gym center, so if you are an exhibitionist you will love it, otherwise it's a bit weird.
My room's view wasn't really stunning.

In a nutshell it's a good hotel for conferences and meetings and if you want to be close by the airport (shuttle goes 2 or 3 times per hour for 70 NOK)

Nice hotel from the outside and front desk area.rooms are small and no air conditioning or fans. Our room was on the 2nd floor right over the front drop off area.very noisy.especially when you have to have the windows open to get any air. American Standard this would be a 2 star hotelnot sure how a European would rate the accommodations.
